Lana was known to be a beautifully talented woman, beloved mother, wife, and "Nana" as her grandchildren called her. She was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, and lived there until right after marrying her adoring husband, David Sherman. Mrs. Sherman's family expresses how much of a rock she was for their family, as well as the glue that held their family together and allowed them to enjoy and live life to the absolute fullest. Some of Lana's passions and talents included sewing, painting, and anything that involved crafting. Lana Brune Sherman was a woman with a heart and soul that was completely dedicated to God and her family, she was always ready to help anyone in need. Mr. and Mrs. Sherman were also long time members of Thorington Road Baptist Church, where they both will be greatly missed. Ms. Lana left a loving impact on anyone and everyone that came into contact with her. The Sherman family expresses how truly beautiful of a person she was, inside and out.
Lana Brune Sherman is predeceased by her husband, David Sherman. She is survived by her loving daughters, Karen Sellers and Laura Patterson; granddaughters, Mattie Sellers, Gracie Sellers, Haley Mullins (Ryan Mullins), Maggie Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Bryson Mullins (Haley) and Saylor Reed (Maggie).
A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Lana Brune Sherman will be held at Thorington Road Baptist Church at 10:30 AM on Friday, July 12th, 2024.
