EASTERLING, John David, 24, a lifetime resident of Montgomery, AL, went home to be with our loving Father on Thursday, February 2, 2017. He leaves behind his loving parents, Mike & Debbie Easterling (Pike Road), and his older brother, Drew Easterling, whom he adored. John was known for his contagious smile, warm heart, & the willingness to always help others. He was a hard worker at Costco, and loved by all who knew him. He was a graduate of Macon East Academy, & would have graduated from AUM in May. We know he is in our living Father’s arms, and we rest assured of being together again with our precious son. Visitation will be held Monday, February 6, 2016, at 11:30 am, at Leak Memory Chapel, followed by a Graveside Service at 1 pm, in Greenwood Cemetery, with Dr. Tim Thompson officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. He was preceded in death by his loving grandfathers, Dan Easterling & Roddie Hope. Survivors include his parents, brother Drew (Liz), and two precious loving nieces he adored, Kayleigh & Emma Kate Easterling; grandmothers, JoAnn Easterling & Patricia Hope; and loving aunts, uncles, & cousins. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Church of the Highlands or the Montgomery Humane Shelter. Isaiah 41:10 was John’s favorite verse: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Jeremiah 29:11; Peter 5:6; Proverbs 3:5) Online condolences may be made at www.leak-mc.com
