James E. McElwaney born February 25, 1949 in Birmingham, Al. He attended Sidney Lanier High School in Montgomery, Al. . He is preceded in death by his father, James E. McElwaney and his mother Martha E. McElwaney.
He is survived by his wife Reeda McElwaney, his daughter Shaye M. Styron (Mickey), his two sons James C. McElwaney (Inez), John McElwaney (Allison). Grandchildren Michael Mosley (Natalie), Deidra Norwood (Adam), Katelyn McElwaney, Jayce McElwaney, Raelynn McElwaney, and Ansleigh, Caroline, and Mary Adair. Great Grandchildren; Braylei Hebert-Mosley, Bentley Norwood, And Skylar Mosley. With a host of loving cousins and family in Georgia.
He was an avid and accomplished auto mechanic his entire adult life.
Graveside services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Montgomery Al directly behind the funeral home in Trinity Garden near the Veteran area. July 18, 2021 @ 1:00 p.m.
