Harold Ray Little

LITTLE, Harold Ray 75, a longtime resident of Montgomery Alabama, died peacefully at home on January 30, 2024, after an illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Louise Little. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Ester Little; his son, Wesley Little (Rita); daughter, Charity Sanford (Craig); and sister Sue Brewis (Gary). He was known as “Grandaddy” by his five grandchildren, Alison Chawla (Jason), Andrew Little, Logan Sanford, Emmett Sanford, Hayden Casto, and great grandson Jack Chawla. Harold was born in Clanton, Alabama on February 10, 1948. He graduated from Sidney Lanier High in Montgomery Alabama. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed a long career in retail as a successful manager. He was a member of Trinity Assembly of God. Besides spending time with family, one of Harold’s favorite hobbies was fishing. He also enjoyed playing sports growing up and watching them in his later years. Harold was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. His bright eyes and joking attitude will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel at 1:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
