She is preceded in death by her father, Edward Jack Evans Sr.; mother, Marjorie Lee Holman Evans; and brother, Edward Jack Evans Jr. She is survived by her husband, Allen Burlingame; daughter, Tammy Burlingame Trammell (Michael); son, Todd Burlingame (Jennifer); and grandchildren, Austin Trammell, Hannah Trammell, Britney Burlingame, and Sydney Burlingame.
Gayle spent over 30 years working at the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions. Her passion was serving her church, Taylor Road Baptist Church, to which she was extremely active in. She was an overall loving and caring person who was devoted to her husband, children, and church. She loved helping and serving others and will be dearly missed.
A funeral service for Gayle will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Taylor Road Baptist Church with a visitation one hour prior and a graveside service following at Greenwood Cemetery.
