Frank Edward Brand, 68, of Prattville Alabama, passed away unexpectedly at Jackson Hospital on Wednesday, September 7, 2016. He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Edward Brand, Sr. and his mother Virginia Hall Brand Hatfield of Enterprise Alabama.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Spicer Brand, his son Wesley Brand (Kimberly) and his grandson Brayden, his brother Michael Brand (Sharon), his sister, Ann Brand and numerous nieces and nephews.
He served in country as a soldier during the Vietnam War. He was awarded the Vietnam Service medal, Purple Heart, and the Bronze Star with one Oak Leaf Cluster.
He loved soccer and was a former soccer coach and referee. He retired from the Internal Revenue Service after over 30 years of employment.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home on Monday, September 12th with visitation at 10:00 am. Graveside at Greenwood Serenity will follow the Funeral Service.
