MUELLER, Donald E., 99, a Montgomery resident, passed away after an extended illness on October 24, 2012. He was born in Appleton, Wisconsin, and spent most of his early years in that area. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army, leaving the Army with the rank of Staff Sergeant. After the war, he spent almost 50 years in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in the construction and building supplies business, before coming to Montgomery in 1995. He is survived by two sons, William Mueller (Duranna) of Montgomery, and Edward Mueller (Barbara) of Casper, Wyoming; one grand-daughter, Kathryn Mueller Yarnell of Prattville, and two great-grandsons, Dalton and Stone Yarnell of Prattville. In keeping with his wishes, no formal funeral service will be held, but a Graveside Service will be held on Friday, November 2, 2012, at 2 PM, at Alabama Heritage Cemetery.
