Dr. Don Hill

Don is survived by his wife Jean of 73 years, his son Mark (Pam) Hill, his sister Norma Kennedy, his granddaughter Abby (Scott) Little, and his grandson Chance Hill. He was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Pearl Hill, and his brothers William (Bill) Hill and Robert (Bob) Hill.

Don lived a life of service to the Lord and to others. He directed the Frazer Counseling Clinic and served on the church staff for many years. With a Ph.D. in Psychology, Don had over 30 years of experience as a college professor and dean as well as many years’ experience in Christian counseling. Don also served in the Korean War, attaining the rank of Sergeant.

The family would like to thank all of the wonderful caregivers who have blessed Don and Jean over the years. We send special thanks to the great staff at Haven Memory Care and to our special friend, Maggie Crowder.

A visitation for Don will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home, 10505 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, AL 36117, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
