Kershaw, Christopher Knox, 34, a resident of Denver, Colorado, died unexpectedly on January 22. He is survived by his parents, Knox and Jeila Kershaw; his sisters, Courtney Kershaw Taylor and Jeila Martin Kershaw; his niece, Miriam Elizabeth Taylor; his brother-in-law, Watson Robbins Taylor III; his maternal grandparents, Sue Ellen Carroll, and Teymur and Manijeh Ghahremani; his uncle Edward Carroll III; the Royce Kershaw family; and his beloved Deutsch-Drahthaar, Agnes.
Christopher was born in Montgomery, Alabama on June 27, 1987. He attended The Montgomery Academy and graduated from the Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia. He received his BS degree from Tulane University, and was in the final semester of his senior year at the University of Colorado Denver, where he was pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering.
Christopher’s presence in a room was usually preceded by his inimitable, booming laughter and he was always eager to have others join in his revelry. In his free time, Christopher could be found playing with his dog, snow skiing, enjoying live music, or spending time with his many friends all over the country. He will be remembered for his enthusiasm, his empathy and, most of all, his kind heart. Christopher was looking forward to receiving his engineering degree and starting work back in Montgomery at his family business, Knox Kershaw Inc. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him, for to know him was to love him.
