Charles Comer Jackson, age 94, native of Tuscaloosa, AL and current resident of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024. Charles was a member of the United States Air Force serving his country all over the world. Upon his retirement from the Armed Forces he made his home in Montgomery, AL where he devoted a good portion of his life helping others in his community.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 71 years, Faye Jackson; a sister, Gladys Hulsey and a brother, Frank Jackson.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Karen April Alexander and a sister, Barbara Cox.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home with the service immediately following at 2:00 PM with Pastor Neal Eplier officiating. Interment will take place in Alabama Heritage Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers those so desiring may make contributions to The Montgomery Area Food Bank in Charles' memory.
