Charles B. Ingram Jr., 74, of Montgomery, AL, passed away peacefully May 2, 2023, after an extended illness. He graduated from Mortimer Jordan High School in Kimberly, AL in 1966 and Auburn University in 1970. He worked for the State of Alabama AIDT until his retirement. He was a faithful member of Grace Point Church of Christ and served two terms on the board of AGAPE. He served in the US Army from 1969 – 1971 and was a Vietnam War Veteran. Charles loved to play golf and was a huge fan of Auburn sports.
He is preceded in death by his parents Charles B. Ingram Sr. and Leona O. Williams, his wife Jo Jones Ingram and a son, Daniel Dodd Ingram.
He is survived by his sister Della Ingram Lynam; brother-in-laws Tracy Jones (Carole), Bruce Jones; sister-in-law, Pam Jones Thornton (Ricky); nephews, David Lynam (Lauren), Michael Lynam (Kalai), Clay Jones (Lindsey), Justin Jones.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Leak Memory Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 8, 2023 with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be David Lynam, Michael Lynam, Clay Jones, Bart Fox, John Cronier, and Phillip Beasley. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Kennamer, Curtis Pemberton and Jerry Atkinson.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to A.C.A. Daniel Ingram Scholarship Fund.
