Carolyn was born June 16, 1939, in Coos Bay, Oregon, to Malcom Woodrow Wells and Lillian Antionette Bastendorff, who preceded her in death. She was married to her beloved husband Bobby Don Glasscock for 46 years before he went to be with the Lord.
Carolyn is survived by her children Marie Culpepper (Richard), Chuck Glasscock Sr. (Keisha), Corinna Davis (Ronald), and Tammy Green (Kenny). She was blessed with eight grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Rick Shoemaker (Suzie), Michael Shoemaker (Cindy), Terry Shoemaker (Jeed), Linda Jean Shoemaker, and multiple nieces and nephews.
Carolyn resided in Montgomery, AL, for the last 50 years. She was a treasured employee at Tyson Manor for over 30 years and went on to retire from there as well. Carolyn then spent multiple years taking care of elderly patients in their homes and making sure they were treated with care. She loved taking care of her patients.
Carolyn enjoyed being involved with church activities of all kinds and was a current member of Beacon of Hope Church of God. She found joy being in the house of the Lord. She loved to bake, and boy could she bake the best Chocolate Chip pound cake you could ever taste.
Carolyn loved spending time with her family, whether it was sitting and chatting at her home, going on trips to the beach, the mountains of Tennessee and Oregon, or watching over her great grandchildren anytime they needed her.
She will be remembered as a daughter of the King, loving Mother, spunky grandmother, and a friend to many. She will be missed, and all memories treasured.
