Born in Jemison, Alabama to Lee and Nancy Crowson, she spent most of her life in Montgomery, Alabama.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her in-laws Floyd and Lila Bruner; and her siblings Curtis Crowson, Frances Henry, Louise Littleton, James Edward Crowson and Larry Crowson.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, James Marvin Bruner; her children Deborah Bruner (Vann) Brannon and Darrell (Lisa) Bruner; her sisters Betty McKay and Jimmie Mullins; her grandchildren Mary Frances (Brent) Addison, Will (Emma) Brannon, Grace Bruner, Hope Bruner; and her great-grandchildren Mary Owens Addison and Elizabeth Collins Addison.
Anna Marie loved shopping and spoiling her grandchildren. Working with the daycare of Eastern Hills Baptist Church, she delighted in her church family and friends. She enjoyed all the family trips to Gatlinburg and the beach, but she welcomed the opportunity to settle in at home and work in her flower beds. She will be missed by her domino friends, her Sunday School class, and most importantly her family.
A Visitation for Mrs. Bruner is set for Friday, January 22, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Leak Memory Chapel followed by a Chapel Service at 11:00 a.m. to celebrate her memory.
While flowers will be accepted, memorials to the daycare of Eastern Hills Baptist Church will be appreciated also.
