Anne was born in Carmel California, February 27, 1959 to Leslie Herbert Hawkins and Polly Parker Hawkins.
Anne graduated from Arcadia High School before continuing on to Pasadena City College and completing her Bachelor’s in Finance at Cal Poly Pomona. She was a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority.
Anne’s great loves were the outdoors, small animals and personal relationships. She spent many long hours hiking in the San Gabriel Mountains, particularly along the Mt. Wilson Trail in Sierra Madre. She often had small pets and loved caring for and playing with them. Above all she treasured the people in her life, forming long and close relationships with family and friends.
She is survived by her mother Polly Hawkins, sister Natalie De Bakker, brother Brian Hawkins and Eric Hawkins and her partner Daniel Kone.
Funeral services will be held at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Monrovia.
In lieu of flowers, Annie suggested any donations be made to the San Gabriel Humane Society or to St. Luke’s Church in her memory.
She will be deeply missed by those that loved her.
