Megan, you where to young to be taken this early in life. Thank you for being such an awesome cousin to Colton, he enjoyed texting with you and Alex and joking around! You will be dearly missed!! Untill we meet again Megan we love you!!

Megan was the girl you always hoped and prayed your son would bring home. She wasn’t like a future-daughter-in-law, in our heart she was that person from the very beginning. She had this way of caring and making you feel special and included.  I remember one night I had put a hot pot of water to boil on the stove and was talking to Megan in the kitchen while waiting for it to boil. After watching me for several minutes she looked at me, and  then down at the pan.  Trying to hide her laugh she said “um Julie”...right then I see what she had seen all along. I turned on the wrong burner. 

Megan loved to cook and try new recipes and I always looked forward to finding leftover slices of avocado she and Alex would leave out for me. Her salsa was the best. Whether cutting pumpkins to decorating for a Christmas she was all in. My words do not come close to expressing what a remarkable woman she was. And, what a remarkable woman she will always be as ongoing part of us all. I love you sweetheart.  

I had the honor of being this beautiful young lady’s Aunt. I did not get to be with her very often but have peeked in on her through Facebook throughout the years. Such a lovely young lady who was loved and will be greatly missed. 

I had the incredible honor of being Megan’s middle school teacher.  She was my brilliant student first, then my TA for two more years.  She was with me throughout her middle school years. This does not usually happen.  That was Megan though.  She was one of a kind. I adored her and loved spending every minute I could with her.  

My heart hurts. I have no doubt Megan is walking with angels now and that she is incredibly happy.  I also know The Bible states that we will all be with her very soon too.  However, every single day I cry for her mother Julie, her father, her sister Erin, and her love, Alex.  My prayers are for you and will forever be with everyone who loved Megan.

Rest well, sweet girl. YOU are so loved!!! 💕

Megan, such a bright light in the world. Feisty little thing and knew exactly who she was. Being her gymnastics coach was a blessing and so many fond memories of her days in the gym warms my heart. I have loved following her over the years and am so proud of the young lady she became. Sweetheart you will truly be missed.

I have stared at this page for days trying to come up with something eloquent, something worthy, something Megan would be proud of but I have come to the realization it's impossible to find the right words to express the sadness in my heart.  We have been truly blessed to have had Megan in our lives and family for the time we did.  My kids got the privilege of knowing her as Aunt Megan and she brought a spark to Alex we had not seen before.   You are forever in our hearts.  

I was lucky enough to be Megan’s step mom .  In the last few months we talked and texted about the heartache I have been going through. I never really got to thank her enough for her advice , compassion, and just listening. Now my heart brakes again for another loss . Thank you Megan ❤️ Not a day will go by that I won’t be thinking of you . Love you always 💕

My heart hurts for all of you.  This tragedy has been so heartbreaking for all who knew Megan, 
but for Alex, Donelle, Julie, Erin and all of the Felix and Barney families the unspeakable pain will forever be

Megan will always be a miracle for our family. She was an amazing partner to my nephew, a wonderful aunt to our daughter, and an amazingly kind and loving person to my wife and I. 

There is no “missing” Megan for us. She has so deeply touched our family that her presence cannot be dulled by death. She is forever part of each of us, our family, and our lives. 

My wife and I visited my sister a week before the accident. Thankfully, we arrived in time to catch Megan and Alex leaving. I had no idea that would be the last time I would hug Megan...

As parents, Megan was exactly the type of daughter you hope to raise. She’s exactly the type of girl, you hope your son marries. And she’s the type of person you hope to meet and make lifelong friends with.

You will not be forgotten, you will not be missed, because you will always be us. 

Megan’s life was about impact, and she made the very best of one on my family.
