Mary Katherine Davis

1/11/55 – 5/2/13

Mary Katherine Davis (Robinson) passed away last Thursday after a courageous 3-year battle with breast cancer. She will be deeply missed and we will never forget her gentle, caring spirit and those bright blue eyes.

Mary is preceded in death by her father, Wes Robinson. She is survived by her husband, Andrew (Everett), her mother, Mary Robinson (Monroe), stepsons Bret McCarty and wife Shannon (Edmonds) and Ben Davis (Snohomish), stepdaughters Arin Megenity and husband Ryan (Mukilteo), and Amanda Porter and husband Danny (Salt Lake City). Mary is survived by her grandchildren, David, Riley, Anna, Aliah, Brynn and Chloe.

Mary graduated from Monroe High School and continued on to a 38-year career in Accounting at the Monroe Correctional Center, where she developed many long-lasting, treasured friendships. Mary enjoyed gardening, reading, and she loved to travel-especially road trips to the ocean and Montana. She also loved going on cruises and weekend getaways with friends.

A service will be held at 1pm on Thursday, May 9 at Purdy & Kerr funeral home in Monroe. Donations may be made to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
