Margaret A. Kime was born January 25, 1911 at Windsor, Missouri, the daughter of Clarence F. and Margaret S. Johnson. She moved to Sultan, Washington in 1924 with her family where she graduated from Sultan High School in 1928.
Margaret worked many years in the accounting field in both Snohomish and King Counties. She was in the Shaklee business for twelve years and continued using Shaklee products until her death. Margaret loved her knitting machines, creating and selling sweaters, jackets and afghans. She was awarded many ribbons for her knit items at the Evergreen State Fair. When she was 90 years old she acquired her first computer.
Margaret passed away at Madeline Villa Health Care Center, Marysville where she received loving care.
Her brother Clarence “Bud” Johnson of Junction City, Oregon, two grandchildren, Erin and Mathew McCarty of Belleview, Washington and numerous nieces and nephews survive Margaret. Her two sons, Bill Snyder and John McCarty and two brothers, Charles and O. Frank Johnson preceded her in death as did her husband Edwin.
