Formerly of Charlotte, North Carolina, Ronald attended Central Piedmont Community College as well as the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1969 to 1973. He loved college football with his favorite team being the University of Alabama (Roll Tide). He especially enjoyed family functions as well as fishing and traveling.
Ronald is predeceased by his mother, Frances Culp; father, Richard Culp; and sister, Rhonda Walters. He is survived by his loving wife, Merilyn Price Culp; brother, Richard Culp, Jr; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date at Salisbury National Cemetery. Donations and memorials may be made in memory of Ronald M. Culp to either the VIA Hospice and Palliative Care Palmetto Region (1057 Red Ventures Drive, Suite 150, Indian Land, South Carolina, 29707) or Parkinson Association of the Carolinas (2101 Sardis Road North, #102, Charlotte, North Carolina, 28227).
