Born August 19, 1951 Bill proudly served our country by joining the Air Force at the young age of 19 while moving on to become an inspiration to his children and a kind grandfather who would bring a smile to everyone’s face with his humor and generosity. He was passionate about the businesses he created and he loved watching the Carolina Panthers take the field on Sunday. While we lost our father, grandfather, and friend, many have lost the person they could count on most when they needed help or needed someone to brighten up their day.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary F. Craig; parents, Walter and Sadie Craig; sister, Faithie Willard; and brother, JD Craig. He is survived by his children, Michelle Coker (Brian), Dana Degurse, Jonathan Craig, and Jason Jones (Joy); grandchildren, Maddison Deerman, Austin Seymour, Amber Seymour, Carson Seymour, Gage Coker, Brodie Coker, Hana Jones, Uriah Jones, and Alivia Helms; two great-grandchildren; Merrick Deerman and Caroline Willoughby; sister, Pat Mitchell; brothers, Richard Craig and Jr. Craig; and fiance, Pam Little.
Please join us in remembering him at Corinth Baptist Church, located at 3805 Corinth Church Road, Monroe, NC 28112, on Sunday, March 3, 2024. A visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm in the church sanctuary with a funeral service to celebrate his life beginning at 3:00 pm. Burial with military honors will be held immediately after the service at the church cemetery.
