Neal Kemp Price, 76, of Monroe passed away on May 29, 2020. He was born in Union County on January 2, 1944 to the late Kemp and Margaret Price. Neal was a graduate of Benton Heights High School and Oak Hill Academy in Wilson, VA. He was a hard working farmer by trade. He was also an active member of the former Union County Mounted Patrol. Neal was a longtime member of Roanoke Baptist Church where he loved to sing. In addition to his parents, Neal is predeceased by his brother, Donald Winchester Price. He is survived by his loving wife, Wilma R. Price; sister-in-law, Darlene Price; nieces, Virginia Wilson and her husband Michael and Donna Price Haigler and her husband Todd; three great-nieces, Michaela Wilson, Madison Wilson and Hailey Haigler; great-nephew, Bryson Haigler, all of Monroe and also many cousins.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2020 at Roanoke Baptist Church, 618 Roanoke Church Road, Monroe. The Funeral Service will be at the church at 3:00 p.m. followed by burial at Lakeland Memorial Park.
