He proudly served as a Marine in both Iraq and Okinawa. He also had a love and passion for music and was a talented guitarist. After leaving the Marine Corp. Justin began working in the family business until finally branching out and starting his own business. He had a love for his family and treasured spending time with them especially his wife Taryn. He was quick witted with an infectious laugh and had the ability to make others laugh.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Landon Davis; grandfathers, Thomas Davis and Kenneth Swart; and grandmother, Patricia Swart. He is survived by his loving wife Taryn Davis of Monroe, North Carolina; his parents, Michael and Kim Davis of Cosby, Tennessee; brother, Lane Davis (Amber) of Monroe, North Carolina; grandmother, Carolyn Davis of Kingsport, Tennessee; aunts and uncles, Karen and David Dye of Enterprise, Alabama, Kathy Swart of Ludowici, Georgia and Keith Swart of Corry, Pennsylvania; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe, located at 204 South Main Street in Monroe from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A celebration of life will then follow at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe in the Colonial Chapel at 11:00 am. Committal service will then follow at Lakeland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions and memorials can be made to the Epilepsy Alliance North Carolina at 1920 West 1st Street, Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27104 (epilepsync.org).
