Christine E. Hinson

She was born on July 4, 1934 and was a lifelong Union County native. Christine was a founding charter member of Oakland Baptist Church where she taught the children’s classes for well over ten years. She loved and cherished her family very much and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.

Christine is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hinson; and brother, Jimmy Eury. She is survived by her children, Rick Eury (Janice) and Skip Hinson (Beth); grandchildren, Whitney Hinson, Mallory Styles (David), and Jacob Hinson; and great-granddaughter, Greenlee Styles.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe, located at 204 South Main Street, Monroe, North Carolina. A graveside service will then follow the visitation at 2:15 pm at Lakeland Memorial Park, located at 1901 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, North Carolina.
