Also, near and dear to her heart was her preteen club of ten girlfriends, the Bobby Soxers, who together, upon her return to Monroe in 2001, enjoyed annual beach trips, as recently as this summer, when they reflected on their growing up years in Monroe.
Nita was married (1963 – 2000) to Weldon Texas Wall, III (Bud, a Monroe native). They spent many happy years raising their three children in Platteville, WI, where Buddy was an Associate Professor of Art at UW Platteville. She also had a marriage to Charles Williamson III from 2008 – 2017.
She is survived by her three sons: Weldon Texas Wall, IV (Tex) of Burbank, CA; Colt Kendrick Wall of Platteville, WI; and Robert Dawson Wall (Buck) of Raleigh, NC; grandsons Weldon Texas Wall, V (Mason); Van Barringer Wall; Rocco Dominic Wall; granddaughter Tessa Marie Wall; sister-n-law, Virginia Kendrick Bjorlin, and numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
