Born in Norwalk and raised in Trumbull, he was the cherished son of Jean Romano and the late Edward Romano. He was a graduate of St. Theresa School in Trumbull, Fairfield College Preparatory School and Southern Connecticut State University. Keith was the owner/operator of R&R Sitework Development, LLC. He developed, managed, and operated multiple properties in the area, and served as chair of Monroe’s Inland Wetlands Commission. Some of his passions included his son Jack, powerful machines, earthwork, Great Danes, and Kyokushin Karate.
He will be remembered for his kind heart, strong work ethic, generosity and a unique character that can only be described as “Keith”.
He is survived by his 5-year-old son, Jack, mother, Jean Romano, brothers, Matt Romano (Sharina), Chris Romano (Kim) and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends are invited to calling hours Friday July 5th from 4pm-8pm at Spadaccino & Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT 06468. Funeral/Memorial service to be celebrated at 11am Saturday July 6th at St. Stephen Church located 6948 Main St. Trumbull, CT 06611. Interment to immediately follow at St. John’s Cemetery located at 500 Moose Hill Rd. Monroe, CT 06468.
