Candy was born in East Hartford to Elden “Al” Hassan and Katherine Glancy Hassan on August 24, 1946. She went to school in Westport. Candy married James Davis on June 15, 1968 in Westport. She graduated from Norwalk Community College with an Associates Degree in Nursing. Candy worked as a Registered Nurse for Norwalk and Stamford Hospitals and later in a doctor’s office.
Candy is preceded in death by her parents Al and Katherine Hassan, her in-laws Harrison and Edna Davis, and her beloved Daughter in law, Dawn Dittmar Davis.
Candy is survived by her husband of 55 years, James “Jim” Davis, sons Geoffrey Davis and his wife Ana, and Christopher Davis, Grandchildren Kaitlyn Davis, Colin Davis, Lauren Davis and Erin Davis, her sister Maureen Jackson and her husband Dennis Jackson, and her many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Visitation services will be held from 1pm – 4pm on February 3rd at Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home at 315 Monroe Turnpike Monroe, CT 06468.
