Wilma Delores May Wallace

Mrs. Wilma Delores May Wallace, age 96 passed away on October 12, 2024. Visitation will be Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 1-2 pm with a Chapel service to follow, entombment will be at Pine Crest Mausoleum.

Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by her husband, R.L. Wallace, Jr.; parents, Thomas L and Jeanie May; sisters, Margaret Baker and Lucille Welford; brother, Thomas May and son in law, Marshall L Pasley.

Mrs. Wallace is survived by her daughters, Jane W. Pasley, Patricia Wallace, Dionne Wallace and Annette W. (George) Hinote; grandchildren, Kimberly (John) Pemmisi, Marty (Dawn) Pasley, Michelle (Dean) Bexly, Alicia Lopez, Larry Wallace, Cheryl Parker and Ellen Toler; 11 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren; sister, Betty (Tom) Ebel; brother, Ewell Glen May and numerous nieces and nephew.

Delores loved her family and life to the fullest, she was a licensed Pilot, during her earlier years she was a model, she helped build Mardi gras floats, worked at the shipyard during the war and worked at Gulf Coast Jewelry, she was also a NASCAR, Atlanta Braves and New Orleans Saints Fan but above all that Delores was most proud of being a mother, grandmother and great great grandmother.

Pallbearers will be Larry Wallace Jr, Marty Pasley, Dean Bexley, Jay Davis, Jay Chimento, Tim Chimento and Honorary pallbearers will be John Pennisi, Tom Ebel and Connor Roy.
