William J. Williams

William Jesse Williams, age 83, of Wilmer, Alabama passed away on Tuesday January 15, 2019. William was born August 9, 1935 in Selma, AL. Jesse was married to Margie Smith Williams for 65 years. He was a graduate of Baker High School who played on the basketball team. A self employed contractor who later worked for Harvill Construction for many years. Jesse served in the National Guard. He enjoyed having a big garden, which he had until the last few years. Jesse and Margie enjoyed going to yard sales. Old Westerns took up part of his afternoon. He also loved to fish, hunt and barbeque.

Jesse is preceded in death by his parents Earlis and Estelle Williams. Survivors include his wife Margie Williams, son Kenneth (Pamela Irons) Williams, daughters Debra "Debbie" (Roy) Barnes, Sharon (Gordon) Millwood, Kristal Dickson (Jay Dickson), sisters Martha (Doug) Freeland, Mary (Roger) Kelly, Judy (Bobby) Busby and Josie (Larry) Hipp, brothers Curtis (Sylvia) Williams and Robert "Bobby" (Joyce) Williams. eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

A graveside service for Jesse will be held Friday, January 18, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Pine Crest Cemetery West, Snow Rd, Mobile, AL 36695. A visitation will occur Friday, January 18, 2019 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Radney Funeral Home-Mobile, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36606.
