William Jasper Reaves

William Jasper Reaves, longtime resident of Mobile, AL and native of Eufaula, AL passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. He is preceded in death by his parents Alpheus Baker and Lurlene Herndon Reaves, sisters Maxi Blondheim and Celia Satterwhite.

Mr. Reaves was a longtime employee of American Tank and Vessel Company as an engineer. He served his country honorably in the United States Army.

Mr. Reaves is survived by his wife Emily A. Reaves and sons, William J. Reaves, Jr., David Reaves (Becky), Charles Reaves (Tracey) and James Reaves. His grandchildren also survive him; Grayson, MacKinley, Ashley, Tabitha, Lucas and great-grandchildren, Amelia and Priscilla.

Graveside services will be held at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Spanish Fort, AL on Thursday, December 12, 2024 beginning at 10:00 a.m. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Government Street Presbyterian Church, Mobile, AL.
