Vivian Carroll Steiner King, 89, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020 in Mobile, AL. Vivian was a life-long resident of Mobile. She was a graduate of Murphy High School. She was a City Clerk for the City of Mobile. She retired from the Mobile County School System, after many years working in the Central Office of Barton Academy. Vivian was also a life-long member of St. John’s Episcopal Church. She was an incredibly strong and caring woman, and will be greatly missed.
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, James Grey Steiner and Anna Vivian Snellman Steiner; and one son, Steven Warren King.
She is survived by her sons, Deane Bruce King and Leslie Grey King; daughter, Elaine (Robert) Campbell; brother, James Steiner; one sister, Mary Catherine Warren; grandchildren, Brian Grey King, Craig (Kimberly) Campbell, Nash (Lauren) Campbell, Katye King, David (Vivian) Campbell and Brett Campbell; also survived my many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other cherished family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in Pine Crest Cemetery on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile.
