Virginia Windham Duvall

Virginia (Ginny) Windham Duvall passed away in Mobile, Alabama on September 23, 2023. Born in Pensacola, Florida on June 16, 1946 to John W. Windham Sr. and Lyla Armentrout Windham, Ginny was preceded in death by both parents. She was a resident of Mobile, AL for over 40 years.

Ginny is survived by her husband of 50 years Stephen B. Duvall, one son Timothy (Charlene) Duvall, two grandchildren Sadie and Braxton Duvall. Sister Dianne (Thomas) Kerr, brother John (Cathy) Windham, Jr., brother in-law Joel (Sue) Duvall, sister in-law Sarah (Larry) Dorschug and five nieces and nephews also survive her.

As a child she lived in Germany and Japan along with multiple states in the United States. She graduated from the University of West Florida with a degree in Elementary Education.

She loved to crochet and give the afghans to family, friends and local Catholic Schools and Church and

loved to sing and dance. She loved Mardi Gras and attended numerous parades and balls every year.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date in Pensacola, Florida.
