A precious and kind hearted soul.  Loved seeing her smile in the credit union.  Always pleasant! 

I wanted to add my sincere condolences to Jamie, Scott and Chris on the death of Sandra. I grew up across the street from the Hildreth family, and I always had great admiration and affection  for Mrs. Hildreth. She was educated, capable, graceful and so, so kind. When I was a child, she always seemed happy to see me at her door  even though she knew it would involve playing "Cracklin' Rosie" on her player piano incessantly. As a teenager I babysat her sweet boys; valuable practice since I later had two sons of my own. When I was a young woman in love, she and other neighbors generously hosted a lovely bridal shower for me. She was such a integral part of my early life that it's hard to imagine a world without her. I am comforted by the fact that she was a Godly woman who has now transcended this world and communes with our Savior in the next. My prayer is that the family finds comfort in the words of our Lord, "Peace I leave with you; My perfect peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. In the world you will have tribulation. But take courage for I have overcome the world!"

An example of Sandra's big heart and thoughtfulness showed up at our door last night. She had a Christmas gift for me that she could not deliver. But it was sent with her sweetness that we will miss so much. Loved you like a sister, and will miss you greatly.


I knew Mrs Hildreth from Moffett Road Baptist Church. She loved and invested in me as a youth and was a great influence in my life. Such a dear lady. My sincerest condolences to her husband, Jamie, and her sons, Scott and Chris, and the rest of her family. I know she will be greatly missed. 

Sandra was the kindest and most caring person that I knew.  She is now in heaven where there is no pain and with the Lord.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Sandra’s family.

I have so many great memories of Sandra she was one of a kind and I loved serving with her at West Mobile Baptist Church you could always count on her to make her lemon squares ( she made the best) the last ones I had was December 14 for a staff lunch that we hosted at Church and Mr. Jamie brought them in with a few extra for me to take home she was so involved  with  our Church always caring for others she was a fine example of what a Christian should be I hope that I can be half the women she was oh how we miss her prayers to 
the family! 

One of the most beautiful treasures in my life was to know her and be a receipt of her love. How fortunate that any of us be loved and celebrated by her. My deepest love and sympathy to  Uncle Jamie, Scott, Chris and all those grieving her absence.

I have known and loved Sandra since about 1982. We met at Moffat Road Baptist church, where we served together for eight years, went through starting a new church in 1990, West Mobile Baptist, and have been friends all this time. She was always cheerful and encouraging and had the sweetest smile. I will miss her greatly. My prayers go out for Jamie, Scott and  Chris and the whole family.  She leaves a big void that only Jesus can fill. 

Sending our prayers and love to the Hildreth family. With many visits to the Credit Union you always smiled and had a kind word to say. You and mom kept in contact after your retirement and that’s what friendship does, it last. You will be missed and we have memories to hold onto.

      Aunt Sandra has been one of the most influential women that the Lord placed in my life and a great role model to many. There were great family gatherings at the Hildreth residence and many endless hours of fun around the pool and at the beach. She was a great cook and many memories were made around the kitchen table along with meaningful conversation. She used to come to my elementary school and read the greatest books to my class such as Green Eggs and Ham. She once even cooked green eggs and ham. I didn’t think it was possible but that day she taught me the magic of food coloring! She was one of my first grade Sunday school teachers. I still have one of the Bibles that she presented to all of the students in her class through the years. She has made a profound impact in the lives of many and she will always have a special place in my heart. My prayers and deepest sympathy to Uncle Jamie, Scott, Chris and family.



My heart reaches out to Sandra’s family and my dear friend, Judy Humphreys, Sandra’s cousin, with deepest sympathy during this time of their great sorrow. 
Thanks to Judy, I had the pleasure of spending cherished times with Sandra and her family in Orange Beach.  I will always remember her endearing smile.  


My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time.  Mrs. Hildreth treated me like one of her own and left a lasting impression on me.  I have many memories of her a d Mr Hildreth opening their home to us for Young Life meetings during high school.  She was just a wonderful person and a great example of a Christian.

When I think of Sandra, I usually think of her bright yellow raincoat.  She may have been wearing it the first time I attended choir practice in April 2013 just a week after I moved to Mobile from Jerusalem, Israel. Being from a place where there was so little rain each year,  I wasn't used to frequent downpours of warm rain and a need for a raincoat or an umbrella.  I admired hers so often that she finally gave me a catalog where I might be able to order one for myself.  (:

Sandra was beautiful both inside and out.  I so appreciate her desire to reach children for Jesus.  My heart breaks for you, Jamie and family, although I know you grieve, but not as ones without hope.  You are in my prayers as I continue to ask the Lord to comfort you as only He is able to do.

I knew Sandra for years through dealings with the Corps Credit Union.  She was always helpful, cheerful, and nice.  I am so sorry to hear of her passing.  My heartfelt sympathy to Jamie and the rest of her family.  May God comfort you all during this time of great loss.

Sandra was one of the most precious people I have ever known. To call her my cousin was/is an honor.  I am heartbroken but know she is in glory and no more worries. To Jaime, children and grandchildren you are strong in your faith and lean on it as you learn to adjust to your "angel" being in her forever home watching over you.
