Robert Edward Peters

Mr. Robert Edward Peters, 82, of Mobile, was a loving Father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a long-time member at Fulton Road Baptist Church and current member of Cowboy Baptist Church. He sang in several local gospel groups along with his wife who played the keyboard, and retired from the U.S. Postal service after 43 years.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carolyn Ann Peters; parents, Herbert L. and Anice Peters; sister, Carolyn Lands; and a brother, Herbert L. Peters Jr.

He is survived by his children, Jerry W. (Angela) Peters, Brenda A. (Steve) Valerio, David E. Peters and Dennis R. (Mary) Peters; sisters, Patsy Tyson (Kenny) and Shirley Cole; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be his grandsons: Jason Peters, Thomas Peters, Chad Peters, Adam Peters, Micah Valerio and Corey Peters

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home, 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, Alabama. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Pine Crest Funeral Home with Rev. Calep Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
