Rennie David Pitt, 86 and a resident of Mobile, AL. passed away at his home on Thursday, April 30, 2015. David was a retired Captain with 27 years of service for the Mobile Fire Department. He was also a member of Our Lady of Lordes as well as the Knights of Columbus. David is survived by his wife of 57 years, Laura “Sue” Shaw Pitt, his two sons: Rennie David Pitt Jr. and John F. (Debbie Morgan) Pitt; his brother Melvin J.(Joyce) Pitt, his grandchildren: Michael, Ryan, Taylor, Avery, John; his 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. There will be a visitation on Sunday May 3, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. with a Mass at Our Lady of Lordes Catholic Church at 10:30 on Monday May 4, 2015. Interment will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens. The family requests that in lieu of flowers; please donate to Our Lady of Lordes Catholic Church.
