Mr. Ray Whitsett Pope, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014. He is preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Rose Pope. He is survived by his children; Ramona Mallette, Tony Pope, Patrick Pope and Mark Alan Pope (Maureen). He also leaves to cherish his memory his sisters, Nancy Myles and Carol Deverell, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and dear friend, Sylvia Gilmore. Visitation will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, January 17, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 6110 Three Notch Road, Mobile, AL.
