Pamela Jolly Johnson, age 69, native of Mobile, AL, passed away at her home on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 following a lengthy illness. She is preceded in death by her parents, Peden and Isadora Jolly and brother, John Wayne Jolly. Pamela was a retired Sales Manager in telecommunications. She was a member of Ashland Place United Methodist Church. Pamela volunteered for many years with the Rape Crisis Line and the Mobile Literacy Association. She attended Springhill College and was an avid tennis player. She will be remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother and doting grandmother and great-grandmother. Pamela’s love of family, friends, pets and her Lord was witnessed in her daily life. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Steve Johnson and children; Terri Onderdonk, Lanie Powell, B. J. Johnson and Clint Johnson (Lesley). She is also survived by her sister, Susan Marshall, daughter-in-law, Julie Furbershaw, mother-in-law, Janice Johnson, grandchildren; Britany Alford (Randall), Riley Johnson, Collin Johnson, Blakley Endress, Aiden Johnson, Josh Onderdonk, great-grandchildren; Lakin Alford, Amanda Alford and Ansley Alford. The family would like to express their gratitude to the “Honeybees” for their loving and attentive care. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Ashland Place United Methodist Church on Saturday, January 5, 2019 beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
