Otilia (Maria) Ochoa Nelson passed away peacefully at her home on October 14, 2018. She went to be with our Lord at the age of 93. Otilia was born on January 5, 1925 in San Pedro Sula, Honduras before coming to Mobile with her husband Manuel Nelson, who preceded her in death.
Otilia enjoyed reading, embroidery, music and dancing. She will be remembered for her unique sense of humor, her loving-generous spirit and for her fierce loyalty to her family.
Otilia is lovingly remembered by her sons Joseph Nelson (Yvonne), Russell Nelson (Jennifer), Robert Stanley (Nevia); her daughter Sandy Penton (Ed); her brother Roberto Ochoa; sister-in-law Maria Alejandrino Ochoa-Casanova along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
The funeral service will be held at Grace Anglican Church, 817 Estella St., Fairhope, Alabama on (date) at (time). Interment to follow at Fishermen Baptist Church, 17117 River Rd., Bon Secour, Alabama
