Mary K. Powell, a longtime resident of Mobile, died on Monday. She was preceded in death by her husband, Berdie C. Powell. She is survived by four children, Mary Jane (John S.) Ryan, Betty Sue (Charlie) Schryver; Charlotte Andrews and Michael (Chris) Powell; two sisters, Wilma Cunningham and Joyce Peters; one brother, Emmett Kirkland; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from Christ United Methodist Church on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 2 PM. Visitation will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM. Burial will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
