Mae Geraldine Busby Nobles, age 93, was born on November 5, 1931 and was a lifelong resident of Mobile. She accepted Jesus as her personal savior at the tender age of 6, and never wavered in her faith. She loved attending church, reading her Bible and sharing her knowledge of the scriptures with anyone willing to listen. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Jessie Mae Walker and Charles Walker, her father, George Merrill Busby, her brother, Larry Keith Busby, her sister, Martha Quinn, and her great granddaughter, Alyssa Felps.
She is survived by her four children, Larry (Carrie) Nobles, Sonja Kilpatrick, Cheryl (Mike) Busbin, Dale (Ruth) Nobles; eleven grandchildren, Chris (Dana) Nobles, Nicole (Adam) Sparkman, Stephen (Jessica) Nobles, Tara Kilpatrick, Michael Kilpatrick, Clay (Nikki) Kilpatrick, Brad (Annice) Busbin, Brian (Joanie) Busbin, Mandy (Seth) Parker, Ellis Nobles, and Avery Nobles; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Nobles will be on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 11:00 am with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery on Dauphin Island Parkway.
