Louise was a life-long federal civil service employee, having worked at Gulfport Navy Sea-Bee Center, Keesler Air Force Base, Brookley Air Force Base, and finally, seventeen years commuting to Keesler again. After retirement, she worked as secretary to the principal at C.F. Vigor High School before marrying Cecil Manley in 1991. She was an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, having served several years as secretary. Louise was also a past member of the school board for Mobile Junior Academy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Manley; her mother, Annie Mae Cummins Bosarge; her father, Charles E. Bosarge; four brothers, Willie E. Bosarge, Bernard (Ethel) Bosarge, Arra (Audrey) Bosarge, and Theo (Doris) Bosarge; three sisters, Modeste E. Bosarge, Essie O. Bosarge and Myrtle (Frank) Sasso.
Survivors include her son, Michael L. Peavy of Destin, FL; her daughter, Renee A. DuVal of Mobile; grandson, D. Mark (Lauren) Couillard, II of Hong Kong, China; granddauther, Shannon (Jason) Coble of Mobile; great-grandchildren, Lorelei Kindel, Logan Coble, Leilani Coble, and Troy Brock, Jr., all of Mobile; nieces, including Carol (Robert) Clark of Waynesboro, MS; nephews; great-nieces, including Cara (Kenny) McLarty and Cheryl Dempsey of Fairhope, AL; cousins, Naomi, Doris and Mildred Dedeaux; other relatives, neighbors and friends.
Graveside services and interment will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2011, at 2:30 p.m. in Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport, MS. Visitation will be Friday, July 8, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street.
