Karragan Blaine Cochran born May 1, 2004 in Mobile, Alabama passed from this life to her eternal Heavenly home on April 15, 2022. She is preceded by her Grandmothers, Phyllis Thompson and Gwen Vaughan Stone.
A lifelong resident of Hurley, MS, Karragan was a student of the Graduating Class of 2022 and an active member of the FFA at East Central High School. She was also a member of Wade Baptist Church. A beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend whose kind heart earned her the name “KareBear”.
Karragan touched the lives of so many; to know her was to love her. She was a ray of sunshine and the star of our hearts. She will always be remembered for her genuine kindness, compassionate heart and a smile that could brighten any day. She always looked out for others and put others before herself. Her love for children was her passion.This was evident as she interacted with children, they were drawn to her.
She is survived by her parents, Tisha and Jeremy Cochran, sisters, Kaytee Belle Cochran and Kinsey Blake Cochran. She is also survived by her grandparents; Bruce and Bobbie Cochran, Curtis Thompson, Ray and Lorraine Vaughan and Shannon Stone, aunts and uncles, Nicole and Michael Harvey, Erica and Stan Smith and Matt and Sandra Cochran, her many cousins and special friends.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and doctors at USA Women’s and Children Hospital…their love and compassion will be forever remembered.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Wade Baptist Church, Wade, MS from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Funeral services will beginning immediately following. Interment will be held in the Johnson Family Cemetery in Wade, MS.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Caleb Hudson, Daniel Goff, Dawson Dye, Drew Smith, Gavin Stringfellow, JT Trantham, Noah Ahlers and Treyce Buckley.
