Jewel M. Davis, age 91, of Jackson, GA formerly of Chickasaw, Al passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2011. Funeral services will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home. Private burial will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
She is survived her son, Ray and Brenda Davis of Gulf Port, MS; daughter, Dorothy Davis of Jackson, GA; 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; sisters, Lima Alawine and Ann Carey of Royston, GA. She will lovingly be remembered by her family as being, “The best Mom there ever could be!”
Jewel was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert S. Davis; children, Marie, Betty, Steve, Leonard and Ralph.
