Jack Cecil Worrell, Jr., 76, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents Jack Cecil Worrell, Sr. and Betty Knowles Worrell and brothers Stephen Anthony and David Glenn Worrell.
Jack attended St. Joseph Catholic School and graduated from McGill Institute. He served in the United States Marine Corps and was a Vietnam veteran. He was formerly employed by Brungart Equipment Company and retired from Barlow World where he was Parts Manager.
Mr. Worrell is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Martha Brown Worrell. He is also survived by son, Jack C. Worrell, III (Christi), daughter, Stephanie W. Ryan (Terry) and grandchildren Ashton B. Worrell (Jayda), Baylee N. Worrell, Sarah E. Ryan and Alex Delery. Great grandchildren, Avacyn, Everleigh and Oliver; siblings, Betty W. Smith (Donald), Mike J. Worrell (Susan), Pam W. Harper (James), special brother-in-law/cousin, Charles Snyder (Rosemary), numerous nieces and nephews also survive him.
Jack was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church and enjoyed fishing and watching Alabama football during his pastime.
Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home-mobile on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Little Flower Catholic Church on Thursday, February 23, 2023 beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Catholic Cemetery.
