The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church.
Mrs. Pearson was born October 6, 1919, in Haverhill, MA, to the late George Otis Brindle and Florence Zenobie Gerrior Brindle, and was the youngest of 17 children. She was a World War II United States Army Women’s Air Corps veteran; this is when she met her late husband, Edmond “Rudy” Pearson. Mrs. Pearson was proud that she got to take an Honor Flight with Gov. Bob Riley, was presented a flag by Rep. Jo Bonner, and got to place a wreath in Arlington National Cemetery. She was a competitive swimmer, a hockey goalie, sang operetta with her brother, and loved cooking, traveling, and dancing. She, also, was a caterer and a member of a mystic society for many years. Mrs. Pearson was very involved in St. Monica’s Catholic Church, Little Flower Catholic Church, and Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
She is survived by four daughters, Patricia (Robert, Sr.) Richey of Mobile, Ellen (Thomas) Greer of Fowl River, June (Kevin) Ryan of Auburn, and Lori Pearson of Mobile, eight grandchildren, Glenn (Suzanne) Richey, Jessica (Walton) Moseley, Michael Ryan, Caitlin (Brandon) Kent, Anne Ryan, Scott Greer, Whitney (Joshua) Stanford, and Derrick (Haley) Greer, six great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and special dear friends. A special thanks to her devoted caregiver, Lorene Culpepper and Dr. Barry Booth.
