Emma Driskell Finn

Emma Driskell Finn – age 96, a native of Wilmer, AL and a resident of Mobile for several years died Friday, December 16, 2011. Mrs. Finn was a member of Palestine Missionary Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of many years, Richard Finn; one son, Eddie Ray Spooner; parents, George Poe and Florence Parker Driskell; brothers, Levi, George, and Dewitte Driskell; and one sister, Lena Pearl Bonner. She is survived by her daughters, Margaret Whittington of Mobile and Loretta (David) Mathis of Wilmer; grandsons, Larry Spooner, Michael Spooner, Ricky Mathis, Terry Mathis, Robert Whittington, Jerry Whittington, and Dwayne Whittington; granddaughters, Traci Dossett and Paula Reed; and many great and great, great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy (Bob) Draughon of Mobile and Cora George of Moss Point, MS. The family woulk like to give a special thanks to Roy Lofton, Henery Sedgeway, and Sallie Toifel for their love and support and Infirmary Hospice Care for their compassionate service to Mrs. Finn and the family. Funeral services will be held from Palestine Missionary Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 12 noon until the service hour.
