Edna Viola Bell

Mrs. Edna Viola Bell, age 93, of Mobile, AL, passed away at Allen Memorial Home in Mobile on December 19, 2014. She was born December 26, 1920 in Castleberry, AL to Bruner and Jessie Kirkland. She is preceded in death by her husband CMS John E. Bell, sisters Doris Segrest and Wilma Culp, brother, Milliard Kirkland. She is survived by her daughter Faye Robinson (Douglas) Owens of Hilliard, OH, granddaughters, Sharilyn Owens (Randy Gambill) of North Wilkesboro, NC and Debra (Greg) Bennett of Columbus, GA, brother Levi (Laura Amy) Kirkland of Irvington, AL, sisters Thelma Jernigan of Jacksonville, FL, Mary (Franklin) Smith of Brewton, AL, Glenda (Harold) Barnes of Opelika, AL, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family will welcome friends in the chapel of Spring Hill Baptist Church, 2 McGregor Avenue, Mobile, Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 10 a.m. prior to the 11:00 a.m. funeral service in the chapel of Spring Hill Baptist Church. Interment will be in Cedar Creek Baptist Church cemetery, 22254 County Rd. 6, Castleberry, AL at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
