Duong Thi Nguyen, age 80, a resident of Missouri City, Texas, passed away on August 27, 2021. She was born in Hanoi, Vietnam, on November 17, 1940. Until she retired, she had a very successful retail business in Saigon, Vietnam, and was employed at NyloFlex Manufacturing in Mobile, Alabama. She was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church and a long-time resident of Mobile, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sinh Sy Nguyen and Diem Thi Pham, and her husband, Hanh Van Do. She is survived by her sons, Long Do (Sue), Lan Do (Lynne), Thanh Do, Liem Do (Han), and Tam Do; seven grandchildren, Harrison Do, Thomas Do, Hanna Do, Austen Do, Helen Do, Elizabeth Do, and Nam Long Do; her siblings, Hai Nguyen, Hanh Nguyen, Hung Nguyen, Huong Nguyen, Hop Nguyen, Huan Nguyen, and Han Nguyen. She was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by countless relatives, family, and friends. With respect for the wellbeing of friends and family during the current rise in Covid cases, services will be limited to family members, and masks will be required. A funeral service will be held in the Pine Crest Funeral Home chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021, with interment following in Pine Crest Cemetery.
