Debra (Debbie) Jean Brown - age 55, a native of Tuscaloosa, AL and resident of Mobile, AL passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2010 in a local health care facility.Debbie was the founder and original owner of Butch Cassidy's Cafe'. Debbie's strength and faith were rivaled only by her beauty, enthusiasm for life and capacity for love. The lives of those she leaves behind will never be the same. Cancer broke her body, not her spirit; took her health, never her heart.She was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Martin Revere; and father, Jessie Winford Brown.Survivors include her brother, Mike (Suzanne) Brown of Tuscaloosa, AL; niece, Staci Brown of Phoenix, AZ; step-son, James Seewer of Mobile, AL; special friends, Susan Ward; Bob, Monica and Miles Loftin; Ms. Peggy; Tony and Cindy Deflippo; Jeff and Vicki Sims; Christine Drinkard; Angie Dunn; Les; and finally, her special companion Nicki. The family would like to give special thanks to her wonderful caregivers from Hospice, Misti, Elaine, Emily, Jim, Tonya, Marla and Mrs. Linda Martin.The family would also like to say thanks to the staff at Mercy Medical and Thomas Hospital for taking great care of Debbie.A memorial service will be held Friday, September 17, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home.
