Connie was preceded in death by his parents Connie G. Oliver Sr and Ella Mae (Green) Oliver, four sisters Eloise (Rex) Isler, Bessie (Lamar) Agee, Ida Mae (Dan) Ledbetter, Ann (Terry ) Tanner, one brother Charles (Ellen) Oliver and surviving brother Bobby (Velma) Oliver
He is survived by his wife and best friend of 70 yrs Dorothy (Dot Taylor) Oliver, two sons Michael Oliver Sr, Marcus Oliver Sr., one daughter Catherine (Melvin) Stokes,
six grandchildren, Tricia (Scott) Foster, Michael A Oliver Jr., Donald Benton Jr., Ashley Oliver, Matthew (Melissa) Smith and Marcus (Hannah) Oliver Jr, nine great grandchildren Karah, Justin, Riyah, Taylor, Justin, Dalton, Donovan, Cassie, Aaron and five great great grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Connie was a graduate of Theodore High School and attended The University of Alabama where he studied Chemistry. He served in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict and the Army National Guard until 1960.
Connie was a member of Cypress Shores Baptist Church and served as a deacon for a number of years. Connie was a member of VFW post 49, Member and Past Master of Guy T. Smith Masonic Lodge, a member of Abba Shrine Center serving as Potentate 1998 and a member of the greeters unit & Special Shrine Children. He was Owner and Operator of Southern Marina & Harbor for 50 years. Connie never met a stranger. His love of God, Family and Friends was always first in his heart. A special thanks to the Doctors and staff of Cardiology Associates Dauphin St office for all the love and concern, special care given to Connie and our family.

A visitation for Connie will be held Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Pine Crest Funeral Home, 1939 DAUPHIN ISLAND PKWY, MOBILE, AL 36605, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
