Claude Joseph Curry, Jr., 81, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018 in Mobile, AL. Mr. Curry retired from the Mobile Fire Department, after several decades of service. He has received several commendations including Fireman of the Year and Medals of Valor. Mr. Curry was a hero by profession, and as a father.

He is survived by his children, Margie McGraw, Angie (Rodney) Caldwell, Sherry Arbor, Claude Curry III, Chris (Leslie) Curry, Teresa Curry, Robbie (Ophelia) Dees, and Joel (Kim) Dees; sixteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other cherished family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12-2 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway, with a graveside service immediately following in Pine Crest Cemetery.
