Carolyn Elizabeth Caton, 73, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 4, 2022 in Mobile, Alabama. Carolyn was born to Ellis and Betty Caton on March 22, 1949 in Andulusia, Alabama. She was always the workaholic – having various administrative jobs with Ross Diamond, III, Sullivan St. Clair (as an editor), Eddie McConnell, and WKRG Channel 5. Carolyn was a kind spirit, and very generous to those around her. She will be greatly missed.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by sister, Elaine C. Hill; brother, Jerry Caton (Janet); nieces, Carrie Hutton, Gayle Barry; nephews, David Hutton (Anna), Michael Hutton (Ashley), and Paul Caton; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; and her very special and very loved pup, Colby Caton.
A graveside service for Carolyn will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022 in Pine Crest Cemetery on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile at 11:00 a.m.
